A year that has already given Beeztrap KOTM a Sarkodie collaboration and three official videos now has another chapter, and Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof is the song that opens it. The new single arrived on 30 October 2026 as an audio release on his official YouTube channel.

The Kumasi-born rapper, singer and songwriter put the song out under WAY UP GANG ENTERTAINMENT. It comes less than two weeks after his 27th birthday, which fell on 17 October. For an artist who has moved quickly since his teens, a fresh single so close to a birthday feels like a natural way to mark the new year of his life.

Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof is an Afrobeats record, and that sits comfortably with the way he has always worked. He is a leading figure in the Asakaa drill scene, but he has never stayed inside one lane. His music brings drill together with hiplife, hip hop, Afrobeats and highlife, so a release that leans towards Afrobeats is part of his usual range and not a detour.

The song is an audio release, so there is no picture to go with it yet. That leaves the music to do the talking. Fans who follow him closely will know that his audio uploads often arrive first and are sometimes followed by a full video, as happened with Labadi earlier this year.

Jollof is a word that needs no translation in Ghana. It starts arguments at family gatherings, at parties and across the internet whenever the Ghana and Nigeria debate comes round again. Whatever Beeztrap KOTM does with it on this record, it is a title that gets attention before a single note is heard. Listeners will have to hear the song themselves to find out where he takes it.

For Beeztrap KOTM, this is the latest step in a busy run. In January he released the audio for Labadi with Reggie and O’Kenneth, and the official video followed on 20 February. In May came Peace Of Mind with Sarkodie, shared as an animated lyrics video. The song also has an instrumental version, and our post on the Peace Of Mind instrumentals gives producers and rappers something to work with.

June brought the official video for Expensive Silence, which we covered when it landed. August was a double. A lyrics video for Gangsta appeared on 5 August, and the official video for Highly followed on 31 August. Counting those uploads, More Jollof is at least the sixth new project of the year for his channel, and it arrives right on the heels of the autumn release season.

The channel now carries new uploads from January, February, May, June, August and October. Both the Labadi audio and the Peace Of Mind lyrics video remain there alongside the newer releases.

Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof and a year of steady output

To understand why this release matters, it helps to look at how far he has come. Edwin Eshun, the real name behind Beeztrap KOTM, was born in Kumasi on 17 October 1999. He went to Kumasi Anglican Senior High School and began his music career in 2018 with songs such as Cinderella and Distance Relationship.

The first big marker came in 2023 with the EP Different Type of Gangster. It ran to seven tracks and featured O’Kenneth, Reggie and City Boy. Two of those names have since returned on Labadi, which says something about the working relationships he builds and keeps.

In 2024 he released Fly Girl with Oseikrom Sikanii and followed it with a remix featuring Gyakie. That same year he won Next Rated Act at the 3Music Awards. The recognition continued in 2025, when he took Best New Artiste at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

His debut studio album, Power, came out in August 2025. It has 16 tracks and features Sarkodie, Gyakie, Himra and other artists. A debut album of that size gave him room to show every side of his sound, from the hard drill edge that made his name to the warmer, melodic moments that have widened his audience beyond Kumasi.

Over the years he has worked with a long list of musicians, among them Sarkodie, Tulenkey, Skyface SDW, Camidoh and Stonebwoy. Few young Ghanaian artists can point to that mix of rap heavyweights and Afrobeats voices on their list of collaborators. It also explains why his singles are rarely boxed into one category.

Against that background, More Jollof reads as another example of his habit of releasing steadily and keeping his name in front of listeners. Rather than saving everything for one big album cycle, he has put out songs, videos and visual extras throughout 2026. The approach keeps fans engaged between projects and gives each new single a chance to find its own audience.

It also shows how comfortable he has become moving between sounds. Drill gave him his start and the Asakaa movement gave him a home, yet Afrobeats and highlife have been part of his mix for some time. This single arrives at a point when he no longer has to prove he can rap hard. He can choose the mood, and then decide how to carry it.

The audio for More Jollof is available now on the official Beeztrap KOTM YouTube channel, and it can be streamed there. If you missed the earlier releases, the video for Highly and the Expensive Silence visuals are on the same channel, and our earlier post on Expensive Silence is a good place to catch up on that one.

So give Beeztrap KOTM More Jollof a few listens and decide where it sits beside Highly and Labadi. Share your thoughts with other fans, send the song to a friend who loves a good jollof debate, and tell us where it lands on your playlist.
