Two visualisers in two weeks is a quick turnaround even for a rapper who rarely sits still, and Sarkodie Cold is the second of them. The song, which features OliveTheBoy, went up on Sarkodie’s official YouTube channel on 29 October 2026.
The upload is a visualiser, so the song leads and the screen supports it. It is a format that lets a record reach fans quickly, without the long wait for a full shoot. For anyone searching for the Sarkodie Cold video, this is the official one, and it sits on the same channel as his other recent releases.
Surreal Vision Studios Production directed the visuals. The song comes through Sarkcess Music, and the channel is managed by MiPROMO Media Network. Both names will be familiar to anyone who has followed Sarkodie’s releases over the last few seasons.
OliveTheBoy is the only guest on the record. His name appears beside Sarkodie’s on the upload, which makes this a proper collaboration and not a passing cameo. Sarkodie has given each of his recent songs a different guest, and listeners will want to hear how the two of them share this one.
The timing matters for fans in Kumasi. Rapperholic 2026 (Kumasi Edition) took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 24 October 2026, with tickets sold through the *714*666# code and on the Rapperholic website. A new Sarkodie song arriving five days after that show will feel like a natural follow-up for anyone who was in the stadium.
Sarkodie Cold also follows closely behind another release from the same camp. On 15 October 2026 the rapper uploaded the visualiser for Deja Vu, featuring KiDi. KiDi and Sarkodie have history on record too, and our earlier story on KiDi and Sarkodie on IDK (Asor Mm Dassor) is a good place to revisit that pairing before you move on to the newer songs.
Sarkodie Cold and a year of steady releases
Look at the channel from the spring onwards and a pattern shows. Sarkodie has not waited for a big album rollout to keep his name in conversation. He has put out one song after another, each with a different guest and often in a different format.
The run begins on 30 April 2026 with Odo Pa, featuring Kweku Flick, released as an official music video. On 11 June came Everlasting, a collaboration with Shatta Wale, also as an official video. Two of the best-known names in Ghanaian music on one record was always going to draw attention, and the video gave fans something to share.
July brought two more. Major League, featuring Kweku Smoke, arrived on 10 July as an audio slide. Eight days later, on 18 July, Sarkodie shared IBRAHIM TRAORÉ with Worlasi as a lyrics video. The song carries the name of Burkina Faso’s head of state, and it gave listeners another pairing they had not heard before.
Eno Easy followed on 6 August with DopeNation, released as an official video. Then came Deja Vu with KiDi in mid-October, and now Cold with OliveTheBoy at the end of the month. That makes seven songs with seven different collaborators in about six months.
The guest list is worth reading in full. Kweku Flick, Shatta Wale, Kweku Smoke, Worlasi, DopeNation and KiDi each took a turn, and OliveTheBoy now joins them. Whatever the reason behind the approach, it keeps the catalogue moving and gives each guest the chance to meet Sarkodie’s audience.
There is also the matter of format. Sarkodie has mixed official videos, an audio slide, a lyrics video and visualisers during this stretch. The visualiser for Cold sits closer to the quicker releases than to the bigger video projects such as Everlasting or Odo Pa. That leaves the song to travel on its own strength and to be heard first, with the picture playing a supporting part.
My own reaction is that the pace is what makes this run interesting. Releasing a song every few weeks asks listeners to keep up, and it rewards the ones who do. A fan who heard Odo Pa in April has since had six more songs to compare it with, and each one has a different voice sitting next to Sarkodie.
The rapper’s fans in Kumasi, Accra, Takoradi and Tamale have had a steady supply of new music this year. If you want the latest, the Sarkodie new song to hear right now is Cold, and the visualiser is free to stream on his channel. People who prefer to listen to the Sarkodie Cold audio can do that straight from the same upload.
The best place to go is the official upload on Sarkodie’s channel. The credits there are correct, and the release is properly attributed to Sarkodie and OliveTheBoy. The channel also holds the Deja Vu visualiser, the Eno Easy video and the rest of this year’s songs, so one visit covers the whole run.
So watch the visualiser, listen closely to how OliveTheBoy fits beside Sarkodie, and then tell us where Cold ranks among this year’s releases. Share the video with a friend, drop your thoughts in the comments, and keep an eye on Ghana Songs for the next Sarkodie release as it lands.
