Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival is moving house this Christmas. The 2026 edition of the concert will be held at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon on Thursday, 24 December, the dancehall star has announced.
Stonebwoy made the announcement in a promotional video shared on his social media pages, which gave the date, the venue and how to buy tickets, and started the countdown to the show. The Ghana News Agency, which reported the announcement, says the concert is scheduled to start at 5pm.
This will be the 11th edition of the festival. Last year’s edition, billed as “A Decade of BHIM”, marked ten years of the event and was held at the Accra Sports Stadium. That show also ended up on Christmas Eve, after it was moved to 24 December because of a clash with another event, and it seems Stonebwoy has decided to keep the date. No reason has been given for the change of venue.
BHIM Festival 2026 date, venue and tickets
For fans planning ahead, these are the details confirmed so far. The concert is on Thursday, 24 December 2026, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra, from 5pm. Tickets are being sold through the shortcode *714*2026#, and more information is available on the official BHIM Festival website.
The line-up for the Ghana show has not been announced yet. Organisers are expected to name the supporting acts in the coming weeks. If past editions are anything to go by, fans can expect a strong international flavour, since the festival has hosted Jamaican acts such as Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, Busy Signal and Spice, as well as Davido, Tekno and South Africa’s Focalistic.
The festival has also grown beyond Ghana this year. Its first international edition took place on 15 August 2026 at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, so the Legon show will be the brand’s second major event of the year and its homecoming.
BHIM Festival has become one of the dates Ghanaian music fans mark early on their December calendar, alongside the other big concerts that fill Accra during the festive season. We will bring you the full line-up as soon as it is announced. In the meantime, catch up on Stonebwoy’s recent music, including “Bibiara B3y3 Fine (Everything Gon Be Alright)” and “Wake Up“.
Details as announced by Stonebwoy and reported by the Ghana News Agency on 23 October 2026.
