Piesie Esther celebrated five years of her Flora Made By Grace concert in Accra on Sunday, 1 November 2026, and the night’s loudest cheer came when she called Kuami Eugene onto the stage. The fifth edition took place at Perez Chapel International, popularly called the Perez Dome, in Dzorwulu, according to reports by 3News and GBC.

The concert started at 4pm under the theme “The Greater Grace Encounter”. Entry was free, and the event was powered by Flora from Delta Paper Mill.

Who ministered at the Perez Dome

Piesie Esther shared the evening with a line-up that cut across generations of Ghanaian gospel. 3News lists Ohemaa Mercy, DCOP Kofi Sarpong, the Tagoe Sisters, Francis Amo, Kweku Teye, Uncle Ato and Emmanuel Juddah among the ministers, while the Breaking Yoke Choir also led a session.

The crowd included well-known faces from media, film and government. Broadcaster Serwaa Amihere, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Queen Florence The Lioness, Benedicta Gafah, gospel singer Florence Obinim and David Tabi were spotted, as was the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Sam George.

Kuami Eugene’s surprise appearance

Kuami Eugene’s walk-on was a surprise invitation from the host, and it lifted the room. The “Wish Me Well” singer is best known for highlife and Afropop, but his roots are in the church, and he has spoken many times about his gospel background.

His appearance came in the same week MyJoyOnline published his comments from Joy Prime’s Changes show, where he explained why he did not break through as a gospel act. “The industry here in Ghana is not structured to benefit an upcoming gospel artiste,” he said. He added that he still writes and produces songs for gospel musicians and plans to put at least one gospel song on every project he releases. His most recent single is “Ajei”, which came out in October.

A tribute to Bernice Offei

The concert also paused to honour veteran gospel singer Bernice Offei, who died in September 2026 at the age of 63. The Ghana News Agency and MyJoyOnline both reported her passing. Piesie Esther performed Offei’s song “Hold On” in her memory, a fitting choice for a singer many Ghanaians also remember for “Life Is Short”.

According to the Ghana News Agency, Bernice Offei will be laid to rest on Saturday, 14 November 2026, with the service at the Legon Interdenominational Church.

Kumasi edition on 15 November

The celebration is not over. Piesie Esther takes Flora Made By Grace to Kumasi on Sunday, 15 November 2026, with GBC reporting the Church of Pentecost in Bantama as the venue. Fans in the Ashanti Region who missed the Accra night will get their own chance to worship with her and her guests. The reports did not name the ministers billed for Kumasi.

For Piesie Esther, the five-year mark comes after another busy year, including the release of “Great Change (Nsesae Kese)” in September.
