Other female gospel names to know

Ceccy Twum (1.9 million channel views) narrowly missed the list. Long-serving acts such as Cecilia Marfo and the Tagoe Sisters are well known to Ghanaian churchgoers, but much of their music sits on YouTube “Topic” channels or uploads by others, so their own channel figures do not show their real reach.

How we ranked the musicians

We looked up the official YouTube channel of each artiste using the YouTube Data API and took their total channel views and subscribers on 1 November 2026. We counted only the artiste’s own channel, not fan uploads, lyric channels or “Topic” channels. Women whose channels are new, or whose older songs were uploaded by others, may rank lower than their real popularity. We will update this list as the numbers change.
