Faith is the number one song in Ghana right now

“Faith” was released in late August 2026, with production from MOG Beatz. It is a song about belief and pushing through hard times, with Kweku Smoke rapping about the pressure of the journey and Lasmid carrying the hook. This week it sits at number one on both Apple Music and Audiomack in Ghana, and it is still at number six on Shazam, which shows people are hearing it outside the streaming apps too.

“Bra” and “Bombele” come from the same body of work. Kweku Smoke’s album No Days Off came out on 4 September 2026, and it has kept him at the top of the Apple Music chart for weeks. We covered that run in Kweku Smoke takes 13 spots on Apple Music Ghana Top 20. You can also read our write-up on Kweku Smoke ft. Lasmid – Faith.

Kofi Mole is the only rapper breaking the Kweku Smoke run

Kofi Mole’s “BALOTELLI (SUPA)” is the one song that has kept a firm place among the album tracks. It is in the top five on Apple Music and Audiomack, and it is number two on Shazam, the strongest Shazam position of any song in our top three. That usually means a song is getting heavy play in clubs, on radio and in public places, where people pull out their phones to find out what is playing.

The songs climbing through Shazam

Two of this week’s top 10 come mainly from Shazam. Mickey Lux’s “Vanity” is the number one song on Shazam in Ghana, and Cojo Rae’s “Iskoki” is number three there while also sitting at number 12 on Audiomack. Shazam often picks up songs before the streaming charts do, so both are ones to watch over the next few weeks. Mickey Lux is an Afrobeats singer who has told Graphic Showbiz that he represents the new generation of Ghanaian artistes.

Fameye, Black Sherif and Wendy Shay complete the list

Fameye’s “Gen Z” is number four on Audiomack. The single is a reflective song about doubt, faith and the pressure on young Africans, written as a conversation between the singer and a higher power. Black Sherif’s “Jolie” holds places on both Audiomack and Apple Music, and his new collaboration with M.anifest, “Road Rage”, has also entered the Apple Music top 20 at number 19.

Lasmid appears twice in the top 10. Apart from “Faith”, he is on Wendy Shay’s dance record “Bendova”, which is number seven on Audiomack in Ghana. We wrote about it here: Wendy Shay ft. Lasmid – Bend Over (Bendova). Nigerian acts are also in the mix, with Blaqbonez and Asake’s “Ikebe” at number eight on Apple Music in Ghana.

How we compile this chart

There is no single official weekly music chart for Ghana, so we combine three charts that measure what Ghanaians are actually playing and searching for:

  • Apple Music Top Songs, Ghana (week of 31 October 2026)
  • Audiomack Top Songs, Ghana (week of 26 October 2026)
  • Shazam Top Songs, Ghana (latest update)

Each song gets points for its position on each chart, from 20 points for number one down to one point for number 20. We add the points together and rank the songs. Where two songs finish level, the higher Apple Music position goes first. We do not include iTunes sales or radio airplay data, because the figures available for Ghana are too small to reflect what most people are listening to.
