Kojo Blak – Ability (ft. Medikal & Beatz Vampire)

Some songs arrive with a long build-up, and some simply appear on a Friday and let the music do the talking. Kojo Blak Ability belongs to the second kind, a new single that landed on 23 October 2026 with an official visualiser on YouTube and a stream link for anyone who wants to hear it properly.

The song carries two guests. Medikal and Beatz Vampire appear alongside Kojo Blak, and the line-up is part of the billing from the first frame of the visualiser. On YouTube the release is presented as Ability by Kojo Blak, with Medikal and Beatz Vampire. For a release that keeps its presentation simple, that is a clear signal of intent.

A visualiser works differently from a full music video. There is no storyline to follow and no set to admire. The attention stays on the track, which suits a song that people will want to hear several times before they decide what they think of it. The official visualiser sits on Kojo Blak’s YouTube channel, and the stream link is shared with it for those who prefer their usual music app.

That link is kojoblak.ffm.to/ability. It gathers the streaming options in one place, so there is no need to hunt through several apps for the right version. Fans who want the picture and the sound together can stay on YouTube, while those who listen on the move can send the song straight to their usual platform.

The song sits in the Afrobeats lane, the sound that has carried so many Ghanaian artists across borders in recent years. Anyone searching for the Kojo Blak Ability audio will find it through the same stream link that accompanies the visualiser.

Afrobeats is a wide church, and it has room for rappers, singers and producers who each bring something different to a record. That matters here because the three names on this release come to the song from different directions. A rapper, a singer and a collaborator who shares the billing can pull a track several ways at once, and the best of these pairings find a balance between them.

Anyone who wants to share the song has an easy route. Search for the artist name followed by the song name on YouTube, and the visualiser appears among the first results. Fans who have been looking for the latest Kojo Blak new song can use the same search to confirm they have the official upload and not a re-upload from another channel.

Where Kojo Blak Ability sits in his run

Kojo Blak has built a reputation on collaboration, and this release fits that habit. Readers of this site will remember Mon Bebe with King Promise, which put him next to one of Ghana’s most recognisable voices. He has also worked with Kelvyn Boy on Weather For 2 and with Oxlade on Sailor.

Set beside those songs, Ability looks like another step in the same direction. Each of those releases paired him with a different personality, and each asked a slightly different question of his writing and delivery. This new single asks it again, this time with a rapper and a collaborator whose names Ghanaian listeners will recognise at once.

That choice matters for how the song will be received. A guest list shapes expectations before anyone has heard a note, and Kojo Blak has chosen partners who give the track a distinct identity from the start.

Look at the run of names in his recent work. King Promise, Kelvyn Boy, Oxlade and now Medikal and Beatz Vampire make a mixed group. Some are singers with a strong pull on the dance floor, and others come from a more direct, rap-driven background. Putting them all in the same catalogue shows an artist who is comfortable sharing a track and who is happy to change the shape of a song to suit the person next to him.

Medikal and Beatz Vampire are named alongside him on the release, and fans who follow either of them will have their own reasons to give the song a first listen. How the three voices share the track is something each listener will judge for themselves, and the visualiser makes that easy because nothing on screen competes with the music.

The format has a practical side too. A visualiser is quick to share, light to watch on a phone and easy to replay. In a country where so much music travels through WhatsApp groups, Instagram stories and taxi sound systems, a release built around the track itself fits how people actually listen. The song can spread by word of mouth long before anyone asks for a bigger production.

It is also fair to say what a release like this does for an artist’s momentum. A new song every so often keeps the conversation going between bigger projects, and it gives fans something fresh to share in group chats, on timelines and in the car on the way to work. Ability does that job well enough on paper. Whether it becomes a favourite is a decision for the listeners, as it always is.

The release also arrives with a clear tag on its upload. The artist’s own hashtags point to Afrobeats, and that gives newcomers a quick idea of what to expect before they start the track. Fans who enjoy his earlier collaborations will find that the new song sits comfortably next to them in a playlist.

For now, the facts are straightforward. The song is out, the official visualiser is live on YouTube, and the stream link is ready. Kojo Blak has added a new name to a catalogue that already holds several notable pairings, and he has done it without fuss.

Watch the visualiser, stream the song and tell us what you make of it. Leave your thoughts in the comments and share the song with a friend who has been waiting for new Kojo Blak music.
