Oseikrom Sikanii – Wakawaka

Oseikrom Sikanii keeps the Kumasi streets entertained with Wakawaka, an energetic anthem built around a title that means wandering or moving about. The rapper and comic personality uses it to describe his own restless hustle, moving from show to show and studio to studio, and he delivers it with the humour and streetwise storytelling that have made him a fan favourite.

The beat is catchy and bouncy, with Afrobeats drums and a melodic loop, and the hook is simple enough for a crowd to chant. The official audio is on Sikanii’s channel, and the song has become one of the most played from his 2026 run.

What Wakawaka is about

Wakawaka is about movement. Sikanii raps about his schedule, his travels across Ghana and the energy it takes to stay visible in a crowded industry, and he does it with jokes, Kumasi slang and the self-deprecating wit that sets him apart from other street rappers. The hook repeats the title like a chant, and the song never loses its sense of fun.

Why the song connects

Sikanii’s music works because it does not take itself too seriously, and Wakawaka is a good example. It is a party record with personality, and the title has become a caption for anyone always on the move. The song has found a home in Kumasi clubs and on radio, and it adds to a 2026 catalogue that includes “Hustle”, “Adwuma”, “Tracking You” and “R2bees”, all on GhanaSongs.com.

For new listeners, it is an easy introduction to one of the most entertaining voices in Ghanaian rap.

Expect to hear it in Kumasi, and well beyond, for a long time, especially at the outdoor events where Sikanii is a regular headliner.

Wakawaka and constant movement

Wakawaka captures the restless life of a popular Kumasi entertainer, always moving between shows, studios and appearances. Sikanii makes it fun rather than tiring, and the bouncy beat matches the energy. The title has become shorthand among his fans for anyone who is always on the move.
