Anyone searching for the hit songs 2026 in Ghana can find most of them in one official place: Ghana Bounce, the Ghana playlist run by Apple Music’s African editorial team. When we checked it on Saturday, 7 November 2026, it held 99 songs running to roughly four and a half hours, and Apple Music showed it had been refreshed the day before. Kweku Smoke and Lasmid’s “Faith” opened the list.

This is Apple Music’s own player, so the songs stream through Apple’s licensed service. Subscribers hear full tracks; everyone else hears previews.

Who puts Ghana Bounce together?

The playlist is credited to Apple Music African, the curator account behind Apple’s African programming. The same team runs the Africa Now series, which includes a monthly Africa Now DJ Mix and the Africa Now Radio show with Nandi Madida, and it also keeps the Afrobeats Hits playlist. Its note on Ghana Bounce lists dancehall, highlife, Afrobeats, trap and hiplife, and says the list is refreshed regularly. That means the order you hear may already differ from the one described below.

The songs at the top

The first six places on Saturday told the story of the year so far:

  1. Kweku Smoke & Lasmid – Faith
  2. Kofi Mole – BALOTELLI (SUPA)
  3. Fameye – Gen Z
  4. Okese1, DarkoVibes, Sista Afia & Joey B – Dont Come Too Close II
  5. AratheJay – FAMAME
  6. Sarkodie & KiDi – Deja Vu

“Faith” and “BALOTELLI (SUPA)” are also near the top of our top 10 songs in Ghana this week, so the editors and the charts agree on those two. “Dont Come Too Close II” is the surprise package: a four-way posse cut that brings Okese1, DarkoVibes, Sista Afia and Joey B together on one record.

Sarkodie appears more than anyone

Count the credits and Sarkodie is on 10 of the 99 songs, from “E No Easy” with DopeNation to “This & That” with Wendy Shay and “IBRAHIM TRAORÉ” with Worlasi. Medikal follows with eight appearances, Lasmid has seven and Black Sherif has six, including “SWAGGA”, “PopStar” and “ROAD RAGE” with M.anifest.

A few other placings stand out. DopeNation’s “Kakalika” sits at number 49; YEN and MyJoyOnline reported in June that Spotify’s editors picked it for their 2026 Songs of Summer predictions list. King Paluta and Fameye’s “Good Feeling” is at 20. Highlife is not forgotten either: Ofori Amponsah’s “Odo Nwom (Remix)” with Stonebwoy and KiDi is at 58. The lower half gives space to newer names such as Cojo Rae (“Iskoki”), Yaw Ray (“Keys”), Messiah4L (“Patience”) and Asomacy (“WE SEE DEM”).

When to play it

At four and a half hours, Ghana Bounce covers a full house party or most of the road from Accra to Kumasi. The biggest records are packed into the first 30 songs, so start from the top when guests arrive and let shuffle handle the rest. It is an editor’s choice, not a chart, and it is not a gospel list, so keep it for Friday night rather than Sunday morning.
