King Promise Ft Mr Eazi – That Way

King Promise and Mr Eazi bring Ghana and Nigeria together on That Way, a smooth, emotional Afrobeats record about loving someone exactly the way they like to be loved. Two of West Africa’s most melodic voices share a song from their joint project, and the chemistry is easy and unforced.

The production is soft and mid-tempo, with warm chords and a gentle groove, and both singers deliver with the relaxed confidence of artistes who have nothing to prove. The official video is also on GhanaSongs.com.

What That Way is about

That Way is a love note. King Promise sings about paying attention to how his partner wants to be treated, Mr Eazi adds his own promises in his unmistakable laid-back style and the hook turns the phrase into a melody that sticks. It is romantic without being heavy, and the blend of Ghanaian and Nigerian Afrobeats flavours gives it a sound that works on both sides of the border.

The joint project

That Way is one of the smoothest tracks from the King Promise and Mr Eazi joint project, a 2026 release that moves from romance to the party and back. It sits alongside “Mariana”, “Criminal” and “Mad Ting”, all on GhanaSongs.com, and the project has been one of the most discussed Ghanaian-Nigerian collaborations of the year.

Why the song connects

Love songs are the heart of Afrobeats, and That Way has found a home on romantic playlists across Ghana, Nigeria and the diaspora. The official video has drawn strong numbers, and the song has been dedicated in countless captions. For fans of either artiste, it is an easy favourite.

Ghana and Nigeria on one record

That Way shows how naturally Ghanaian and Nigerian Afrobeats now blend. King Promise’s melodic style and Mr Eazi’s laid-back delivery sit comfortably together, and neither has to change his sound to fit the other. It is one of the smoothest collaborations between the two countries in recent years.
